HPC Showcase

High Performance College Showcase1_edited-2

The Sabre Hockey Association is excited to announce the inaugural High Performance College (HPC) Showcase taking place in Aurora, Illinois April 24-26, 2015. The HPC Showcase highlights the prospective NCAA Division III and ACHA female athletes available not only in the state of Illinois, but also the nation. The purpose of the HPC Showcase is two-fold. The Showcase provides a recruitment event specifically designed for the NCAA Division III and ACHA bound female hockey player, and additionally provides an educational opportunity to inform female hockey players and parents of the opportunities that exist outside of NCAA Division I. The HPC Showcase will field two divisions: 16U and 19U with each teams in each division playing four games throughout the weekend.

With this design in mind, it is our hope that you will be able to attend this year’s HPC Showcase and help make it a top recruiting event for the NCAA Division III and ACHA bound female hockey player. For the educational purpose of the showcase, there will be an open house night in which college coaches will have the opportunity to host an open forum with players and parents about the different college leagues, hockey programs and schools. If you are interested in speaking at the open house, please note this in your confirmation email. In addition, once we receive your confirmation of attendance, we will provide a list of schools that will have representatives available to each team registered for the showcase.

As prior NCAA Division III and ACHA players ourselves and current 19U girls’ coaches, we are extremely excited to announce the first High Performance College Showcase and promote more opportunities for the growth of female collegiate hockey. To confirm your attendance, request a time-slot in the open house, or if you have any questions or concerns, please contact Gretchen Cockey, Sabre Girls Hockey Program Coordinator, at gcockey@sabrehockey.com or 630.414.1107 or any of the coaches listed below.

Thank you and we look forward to see you in April.
